Virtually every inhabitant of central North Carolina, at least the areas immediately surrounding Asheboro and Ramseur, can vouch for the professionalism and expertise of Dr. Imran Haque, one of the top internists in the entirety of rural North Carolina.
Over the past 15-plus years, Imran Haque has securely placed himself among the most highly-regarded internists in North Carolina. More than a full decade ago, Dr. Imran Haque created his own practice – two of them, to be exact – titled Horizon Internal Medicine. Asheboro and Ramseur, North Carolina, are each home to one Horizon Internal Medicine locations, two of the most popular medical facilities throughout North Carolina, holding particularly true for the tiny, rural areas of Ramseur and Asheboro.
In 1994, Imran Haque enlisted in Universidad Iberoamericana, the best of four medical colleges in the Caribbean. Placing his academic talents to good use through May of 1998, Imran Haque earned a medical doctorate with honors, while the majority of medical school hopefuls can’t even get in the first time around.
From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Imran Haque went to the University of Virginia more than five times each and every week to work towards the privilege of becoming a free-standing practitioner. While Haque was placed in the relatively large cities of Salem and Roanoke throughout the vast majority of his time in the traditional coal-mining state, he was also fortunate enough to be sent to rural towns whose average resident didn’t receive a high level of healthcare. As such, Imran decided that he wanted to help the residents of rural towns, as it seemed like most of them weren’t recipients of sufficient healthcare treatment.
Today, Dr. Imran Haque works at a handful of hospitals and his two self-owned Horizon Internal Medicine locations. He’s consistently seen as one of the best doctors in rural central North Carolina.
