The name Wildflower Stew came to me one day when I was living in a beautiful,  impossibly remote place, and realized that my food supplies were running very very low. I looked up and there, all around me, was a riot of wildflowers and I thought to myself, a bit sarcastically, wildflower stew! At the time, the subtitle to that was "you can't eat the view." But the natural world does feed us in a way nothing else can.

Living in harmony with the natural world, the ground of our being, is the inspiration for Wildflower Stew -  a place to share the work of writers, photographers, artists and musicians who struggle to live in these difficult times and not lose their earth consciousness or their creative spirit.
